I periodically have issues with Photoshop and the only way I’ve been able fix it was to reset the preferences. I recently tried opening an image in Photoshop and the program froze. Even when I tried to force quit, it didn’t want to respond. After several minutes, I was able to kill the process, but it froze during the start-up process; more specifically in this instance, during the “reading preferences” stage. Here’s how I fixed it:
Make sure the program is closed
On Windows, hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Ctrl+Command+Option+Shift for Mac)
This may not be viewable in all browsers. At this point, you will not be able to use any version of IE (Internet Explorer) and I highly recommend permanently switching to another browser such as Firefox or Chrome. If you’re using Firefox and see a grey box with an “x” in the middle, try right-clicking on the box then clicking on “View Video.”

FINALLY! iOS 5 jailbreak was released using Redsn0w. Although it was released a week or two ago, I finally got around to jailbreaking my iPod 4G since I updated to iOS 5. Feels good to be free again! A special thanks to Pod2g, Chronic Dev Team, and iPhone Dev Team for all of their hard work.
It has been about a week since we moved into our new home in the country. It is amazing. Peaceful. Quiet. I now wonder how we were able to cram ourselves into a small two bedroom apartment. We are very spoiled in our new home with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an attached 2.5 car garage, full basement the size of the house, and one of my favorite features, friends who our neighbors living across the road. The neighbors to the left and right of us are probably 1/4 – 1/2 mile away.
This is the coolest app ever! I found it in the App store last night. There’s a free version which is really good, but for only $2, you can get the pro, which includes a few more extra features. If you ask me, the pro is definitely worth it!
It was super easy to set up and only took a few minutes. All you need is the app on your iDevice and the server app installed on your computer that you can download from http://mobilemouse.com/ for free.
